So, tomorrow is Wednesday which I'm pretty sure is Cameron's favorite day of the week because he has nursery school. I am also going to school tomorrow as the parent helper. I've only been the parent helper once before and it happened to fall on the day of the Christmas party so all of the other moms were there too and I didn't really have to do anything, so tomorrow will be a somewhat new experience for me. Also, as the parent helper, I have to bring juice and a snack for the kiddies...it's almost midnight and I'm still not sure what the snack is going to be. I'm sure I should have considered this much earlier but whatever. I did, however, make chocolate chip cookies and did up some little treat bags for the kids because they'll be celebrating Valentine's Day at school tomorrow. FYI, Cameron's giving out Bolt valentine's!
We took Cameron last night and tonight at the rink here in Sturgis and I even remembered to take the camera with us tonight. He is really starting to get the hang of it but he still needs help staying upright! We're going to try to take him skating once a week and I'm sure before we know it he'll be skating circles around me. Cory bought me a new pair of skates last year because my old skates didn't fit anymore, which makes sense considering the last time I skated was when I was 9! We only got out skating a couple of times last year but even I'm doing better this year. Tonight, Cory was trying to teach me how to stop...it didn't go well! Going to the general skates here in Sturgis are not anything like the skates they have in Charlottetown. There has never been more than 5 or 6 other people on the ice when we've been there, which makes it much easier for teaching Cameron. Tonight there were only 2 other little boys and their father there. My skates are finally starting to get worked in and I'm starting to enjoy our little outings to the rink. I have spent the majority of my evening uploading short videos onto facebook for the grandparents to watch and here's a picture of our little man on the ice.
That's all for tonight, I have to watch the end of NCIS: Los Angeles!
Until next time...
All I have to say is: Sausage, grapes, cheese, crackers.
