It seems that another Monday has arrived. Of course, Monday is really just another day for me since I don't have to go to work or anything. However, Cory did have to return to work today so Cameron and I are back into our routine of doing pretty much nothing :)
Not too much as been happening in Sturgis lately. Cameron has been keeping us entertained on a daily basis. This kid has the craziest and funniest imagination some days. He is constantly acting out things that he sees on TV and in movies. Lately, we've also been playing "Ice Cream Shop". Cameron sets himself up behind the coffee table in the living room and proudly announces that the "Ice Cream Shop" is open! Cory and I must then take turns visiting the "Ice Cream Shop" where we are always greeted in a very polite manner and both of us are referred to as "Sir". For example, "How can I help you Sir?" "What can I get you Sir?" "Here is your ice cream cone Sir." and my favorite "Here is your toy Sir?" Apparently, the experience is not complete without receiving a toy...sort of like when we take Cameron to McDonald's, he's always more concerned about the toy than the happy meal! So, we had been playing "Ice Cream Shop" off and on for about a week when Cameron decided it was time to open up a new shop. I noticed he had 3 kinds of Band Aids sitting on the coffee table...Sponge Bob, Transformers and Spiderman of course. I had no idea what he was doing and I put the boxes of Band Aids away. Upon his return to the living room he was very upset and exclaimed, "OH NO, where did my boo-boos go?" I asked him what he needed them for and he then explained they were for his "Boo-Boo Shop"...silly Mommy had no idea. So, a few days later I had a cut and Cameron decided it was time to open the "Boo-Boo Shop" where he promptly presented me with a Sponge Bob "boo-boo" and a toy of course.
Aww... gotta love all the pretend stores that pop up!
