Living with a three and a half year old can be trying at times but it can also be very entertaining. Cameron is constantly saying and doing the funniest things. We laugh at him a lot and he even has us practically rolling on the floor at times. I really should write down the funny things he says and does each day so that I don't forget them. This week has been no different from any other but I have managed to remember a few of the funny things Cameron has said and done.
Cameron has taken a huge interest in talking on the phone lately. He also seems to be desperate for visitors lately as well. A couple of days ago he was talking to my mom on the phone (aka Nannie McLeod). I was listening to the conversation of course and could hear Cameron asking my mom to come and visit him. She told him she would love to but she didn't have enough money. Later that evening when I was putting Cameron in the tub he said to me, "Mommy, you need to give Nannie money so she can take an airplane to come visit me. Plleeeease!" It was pretty cute. Then yesterday he was talking to my mom on the phone again and asked if he could go on a plane to go to Nannie's house. He then proceeded to ask Cory and I if we'd miss him if he went to stay at Nannie's. Of course, we told him we'd miss him so he then says to my mother, "I can't come to your house because Mommy and Daddy will miss me too much."
Cory has started getting back into his workout routine this week and Cameron has been working out with him. Cory called me downstairs yesterday so that I could see Cameron doing the Ab Ripper X for the P90X. Cameron was doing the exercises with no trouble at all and it was so funny to watch. Today while Cory was doing his workout Cameron decided to join him again but today Cameron wasn't interested in exercising. Today Cameron just danced to the music the entire time Cory was working out. He even played the air guitar and when the air guitar wasn't doing it for him, he went to the toy room and got a plastic shovel to use as a guitar instead. I got a great video of him in action today but I'm having difficulty getting it to upload to share with everyone.
This afternoon the three of us were in the living room watching speed skating on the Olympics...well, Cameron wasn't really watching. Cameron was just looking for attention and he definitely got it when he said, "Oh shit! Shit!" Cory and I looked at each wondering if we just heard what we thought we heard. So, I looked at Cameron and said, "What?" Cameron looked at me very seriously and with enthusiasm he says, "Shit!" Cory covered his face with his shirt to hide his laughter and I had to cover my face with my hands and turn away because it really was funny. I was almost crying, I was laughing so hard. The hard part was laughing in silence! We didn't say anything about what he said and I'm pretty sure he didn't know we were laughing at him...I hope. He didn't say it again and hopefully, we won't hear it again!
